Yang

Yuet-Yang Siew was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received both his Bachelor of Musical Arts and M.M. degree in Piano Performance from Missouri State University under the tutelage of Dr.
Wei-Han Su.

Praised for his exceptional musicianship, Yuet-Yang was awarded First Prize at the MMTA competition and J.D. Kelly Piano competition. He continued his studies
at the University of Oregon, where he is currently a second year DMA student studying piano
performance under the guidance of Dr. Alexandre Dossin.

Besides his activities as a graduate
student, he is also working on specializations in piano pedagogy and collaborative piano with Dr.
Grace Ho and Dr. David Riley.

Yang is a passionate teacher and pianist and is thrilled to work with the students a Lassen Piano Studio.
