Leah

Leah began playing piano at age 6, and has been passionate about teaching others piano from a young age, even giving lessons to family members and friends! She began teaching professionally at age 16, and has not stopped sharing her love of music since then.

Her teaching philosophy encourages flexible strategies that cater to each student’s learning style. Leah hopes that every piano student leaves their lesson proud of their abilities and excited to share what they have learned with their family and friends.

Leah Amarosa is a current PhD student at the University of Oregon studying Music Theory. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Asbury University and a Master’s in Music from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Besides her academic studies and teaching, Leah loves spending time outdoors, whether that be hiking, rock climbing, camping, or kayaking.
