Emily Lassen is the lead teacher and owner of Lassen Piano Studio, pianist, composer, a mother of three and outdoor enthusiast.

 

Emily is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho, where she earned her Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance. 

 

Upon graduating, Emily was offered a faculty position at her alma mater.  She taught piano classes there until April 2013 and since graduating Emily has maintained a studio of private students. With over over seventeen years of teaching experience she is an enthusiast teacher and musician.

She also enjoys offering her accompaniment services and playing in local chamber ensembles.  In addition, she has a passion for composition, teaches composition lessons and you can purchase her music here.

 

She loves guiding both new and established musicians on their path towards a lifetime of musical accomplishment and fulfillment. She has two little boys and loves outdoor adventure.
